Hay Literary Festival 2019

I had a fantastic couple of days at the glorious Hay Festival. My event was with the brilliant Emma Carroll (I’d highly recommend her books if you like historical fiction). Darren Chetty chaired the event and we talked about how we write and answered lots of questions from the audience. There was laughter, bookish chat… and identical red sandals. A beautiful setting with a great atmosphere. I’d definitely go back!
