OWEN AND THE SOLDIER IS ‘HIGHLY COMMENDED’!

Yesterday evening I was extremely proud to have received a ‘Highly Commended’ award for Owen and the Soldier in the The UKLA book award, as voted for by teachers. This little book means so much to me and I never dreamed how far it would travel. Owen has now found homes in Holland, Turkey, China and Japan. The idea for the book came about because I took a moment to put down my phone and stare out of a train window. It just proves that daydreaming is good for you and I personally think we should all do more of it!
